Close to the Piazale Roma (the main arrival point in Venice from the airport) and Sta. Lucia (railway station) the palazzo is ideally located for guests arriving in Venice. From the house it is a short walk to the Grand Canal the main waterway through the city.

The house is situated on rio Malcanton separating Dorsoduro from S.Croce, the old canal route which provides a short cut from the Ca.Foscari in the middle of the Grand Canal to the top of the canal by the station.

Close by are the Frari church and Scuola San Rocco.
Also nearby is Campo Santa Margherita one of the largest and liveliest squares in the city, known for its cafés, restaurants and students; and during the day time market stalls selling fruit, vegetables and fish.

Access to most places of interest is quite easy on foot. However, for those wanting to travel by water, the nearest water bus (vaporetto) stops are S. Toma and Ca’ Rezzonico both less than ten minutes walk. Using the house as your base it is easy to explore the sights of Venice at your leisure either on foot or using local transport.
